Initial Contact
The easiest way to reach me and start the therapy process is through email (either through the form at the bottom of this page or by emailing me directly at arvind@insightpsychologicalservices.org), though you are also welcome to call me at 970-631-5400. I am committed to returning every therapy inquiry I receive, so you can expect to hear from me soon, often within a day. Consultation Session
The next step is the consultation session. I offer a 100% free, no-strings-attached 30-minute consultation session so that we can get to know one another, and you can make an informed choice about whether you would like to continue to meet. We’ll first go over a few forms (all of which can be found here), and from there you can share whatever you would like about what brings you to therapy, and you will be able to ask me any questions about myself, my approach, scheduling, billing, or anything else that will help you make the right choice for you.
Therapy
The first session is typically scheduled for 90 minutes, and will be a time for you to share more in-depth about who you are and what brings you to this point in your life. From there, individual therapy sessions are generally about 55 minutes in length, and typically begin at a frequency of once per week. In therapy, you will be free to choose a pace that feels comfortable for you. For my part, I strive to create an atmosphere that is open, accepting, and safe.
